Our story
A passion that felt natural
Sylvaria was born from our love of cats. As allergy sufferers ourselves, we turned to the Siberian cat: a majestic, affectionate, well-balanced breed often described as hypoallergenic. Our cats share our daily lives in a peaceful, green environment.
Our priority is to raise healthy, well-adjusted kittens who are ready to join a loving family.

Frequently asked questions
At what age can kittens join their new families?
Kittens leave once they are three months old. This time is essential for their development.
The first three months are very important for a kitten. During this time, their mother teaches them good habits: using the litter tray, playing gently and communicating with other cats. They also grow stronger through weaning, appropriate food and their first vaccinations. Living with their mother, littermates and people helps them become confident, well-adjusted cats.
Is the Siberian cat hypoallergenic?
Siberian cats are often described as hypoallergenic, but no cat is completely allergen-free. The protein Fel d 1, found in saliva and skin secretions, is involved in cat allergies, and allergen levels and individual reactions vary. Whether you react also depends on your allergy and the severity of your symptoms. In my own experience, I have two older non-Siberian cats as well as our three Siberians, and I notice a clear difference: the Siberians do not trigger the symptoms I sometimes experience with the others, such as itchy eyes or a runny nose. This personal experience is not a guarantee for another person.
How can I check kitten availability?
Please use our contact form or visit our Facebook page.
How much does a Sylvaria Siberian kitten cost?
A Sylvaria Siberian kitten costs between €1,500 and €1,800, depending on the kitten and their individual characteristics.
What are point (Neva Masquerade) and sunshine (also called golden) colours?
A colourpoint or Neva Masquerade cat has a white or light-coloured body with darker extremities: ears, face, legs and tail. For a colourpoint kitten to be born, both parents must carry the colourpoint gene.
The sunshine colour in Siberian cats is a rare genetic trait linked to CORIN, associated with the wideband effect. It widens the golden or apricot band on agouti (tabby) hairs, giving the coat a warm, radiant glow.
